The I/O modules of the MCM series from Graf-Syteco are integrated into CAN bus systems and expand the control-related functional range of the operating/control units and the controls by decentralization. Due to their housing with a high degree of protection, they can be used decentrally at many locations on the mobile working machine without the need for a control box.
The MCM modules are equipped with different I/O's for sensing sensors or controlling actuators.
All MCM modules have E1 approval and can be installed on any road vehicle. For parameterization and configuration via CAN bus the software tool "GSUtility" included in GSe-VISU® is available.
In some special applications, an operating and control unit from Graf-Syteco can both take over the visualization and control the machine directly via the user program. This reduces costs because an additional PLC can be dispensed with.
In the majority of mobile machines, due to safety requirements, the processes are monitored and controlled by separate safety controllers (safety PLC).
Graf-Syteco devices have long been characterized by good interoperability with control systems via communication via CAN or Ethernet.
