The ESX.3cs is a compact, robust and powerful controller and belongs to the third generation of ESX controllers. The functions of the connector pins can be defined via software. The ESX.3cs is also suitable for safety-related applications up to Performance Level PL d or Safety Integrity Level SIL 2. The robust aluminum die-cast housing with automotive connectors houses a fast 32-bit microcontroller with 4 MB Flash and 8 MB SRAM, up to two CAN interfaces, one serial interface, Ethernet, LIN and two status LEDs.
