6. Use of cookies

Like many other websites, we also use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are transferred to your hard drive by a website server. This automatically gives us certain data such as B. IP address, browser used, operating system via your computer and your connection to the Internet.
Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transfer viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can make navigation easier for you and enable our website to be displayed correctly.
Under no circumstances will this data collected by us be passed on to third parties or a link with personal data will be established without your consent.
Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. You can deactivate the use of cookies at any time via the settings of your browser. Please use the help functions of your internet browser to find out how you can change these settings. Please note that individual functions of our website may not work if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

7. Passing on personal data

Your data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary to deal with your inquiry / contact and in the context of the use of Google Analytics, see below.

8. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (following: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", ie text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in.

An opt-out cookie will be installed on your device. This will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data for this website and for this browser in the future as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

As an AdWords customer, we also use Google Conversion Tracking, an analysis service from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). In doing so, Google Adwords will set a cookie on your computer ("conversion cookie") if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of ours and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that someone clicked on the ad and was redirected to our site. Every AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The AdWords customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. If you do not want to take part in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this - for example via a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser so that cookies from the domain “googleadservices.com” are blocked.

9. Contact form

The contact form on the website is also available for general contact. Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily provide it to us in the context of an inquiry / contact. We use the data you provide exclusively to deal with your inquiry / contact. The data will be deleted after your request has been processed.

10. Use of Google reCaptcha

We use the reCAPTCHA service from Google Inc. (Google) to protect your inquiries via the Internet form. The query is used to differentiate whether the input is made by a person or improperly by automated, machine processing. The query includes the sending of the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. For this purpose, your input will be transmitted to Google and used there. By using reCAPTCHA, you agree that the recognition you have provided will be incorporated into the digitization of old works. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA will not be merged with other Google data. The different data protection provisions of Google apply to this data. You can find more information about Google's data protection guidelines at: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
