Tuningen volunteer fire brigade performs impressive mission.

Last week, the Tuningen volunteer fire brigade demonstrated its high level of commitment and readiness for action during an exercise in our building.

Insight into the emergency

The aim of the exercise was to prepare our staff for an emergency and to teach them the correct behaviour in emergency situations. Questions such as "What do I do in an emergency?", "Where do I find the escape routes?" and "How do I use a fire extinguisher?" were dealt with in detail. These questions are crucial for everyone, because in an emergency, quick and safe action is required.

At 8.15 a.m., the fire alarm was sounded, the staff evacuated and fire safety instruction was given in accordance with DGVU1. The Tuningen volunteer fire brigade patiently explained the various steps for effective fire-fighting, such as the correct handling of a fire extinguisher and the identification and use of escape routes. The importance of remaining calm and not neglecting one's own safety measures was emphasised.

Commitment on a voluntary basis

The Tuningen volunteer fire brigade does great things every day on a voluntary basis. They are the heroes next door who are on the spot in emergencies and save lives. This commitment deserves recognition and appreciation.

"The Tuningen volunteer fire brigade has once again proven that it does great work not only in an emergency, but also in prevention. Thanks to their expertise and commitment, we are better prepared for possible emergencies," emphasises Jürgen Gedanitz, Safety Officer at Graf-Syteco.

The exercise not only showed how important it is to be prepared for an emergency, but also how much voluntary organisations like the Tuningen volunteer fire brigade promote the safety and well-being of the community. Their tireless efforts and sacrifice deserve our utmost appreciation and support.

Graf-Syteco honoured the commitment of the Tuningen volunteer fire brigade with a donation of 300.00 Euros. Many thanks for the impressive commitment.
