Engineering with the Defacto standard

Programming operating and control units from Graf-Syteco with Codesys

Many Graf-Syteco HMI and control units can now also be programmed with the Codesys integrated development environment. The changeover to the Defacto engineering standard, which has been established in mechanical engineering for many years, results in numerous advantages for the user. For example, programming can now be carried out in one of the languages standardized in IEC61131-3 - for example, structured texts or instruction lists. This means that neither knowledge of a proprietary engineering system nor of a high-level language such as C is required. In addition, applications that have already been created can be ported more easily to new hardware from Graf-Syteco.

In addition to pure programming of the control application, Codesys also offers an integrated debugger. Furthermore, the visualization can be created with the Target-Visu. The integrated development environment can be used license-free, runtime licenses are only required for use on the end devices. Codesys supports both the common fieldbus systems, for example CANopen, and communication via various Ethernet protocols.

For all Graf-Syteco devices with Ethernet interface
Currently, the operating and control units of the D2 series as well as the new GSt-A043, GSt-A07C and GSt-E101 support engineering with Codesys. These are equipped with a powerful i.MX6 processor and an Ethernet interface. The software provided for the devices. GS-Codesys SDK provided for the devices includes everything needed for commissioning.
