We love challenges! When the ZIEGLER company approached us in 2019 and wanted a modular concept for its firefighting vehicles, our engineers were immediately enthusiastic and hit top form. The old control panel was to be replaced by a modern, flexible solution in modular format. In a record time of just 11 months, it was necessary to design 11 individual modules with different functions and to create them in such a way that they could be combined seamlessly. It was undoubtedly a challenging project that demanded a lot from our team, but was ultimately solved masterfully.
We have a long-standing business relationship with the traditional German company ZIEGLER. The company has been active in the market for fire fighting technology for more than 130 years and is known worldwide for its pumping and extinguishing systems as well as fire fighting vehicles. The cooperation on the "Z-Control" project was exemplary, so that the tight schedule could be met without delays. From brainstorming to the specifications to the finished product, the team from ZIEGLER and Graf-Syteco worked hand in hand. "Thanks to very, very good teamwork, we were able to deliver on time and budget after 11 months in the end," Jürgen Müller, CEO of Graf-Syteco, reports with pride about the successful project. Z-Control has proven its worth. The control system has been successfully installed in various vehicle types for over two years. Users are enthusiastic about the sophisticated operating concept. Even in extreme situations, all extinguishing functions can be executed intuitively at the push of a button. The firefighting team from Kaufbeuren is also convinced by the new generation of Z-Control. "As a machine operator who does not regularly operate the vehicles, the intuitive Z-Control operating system from ZIEGLER with the displays and switching elements from Graf-Syteco supports me enormously," explains Alexander Friedrich, Kaufbeuren Fire Department.
