At the start of the SPS trade fair 2019 in Nuremberg, the two long-established companies and automation specialists STW Sensor-Technik Wiedemann and Graf-Syteco symbolically shake hands. Graf-Syteco will also integrate STW's controllers and sensors into their operating and control devices in future projects. Graf-Syteco is thus expanding its product portfolio, using the openSYDE software platform developed and standardized by STW. According to the Plug & Play principle, Graf-Syteco devices can be easily connected to STW controllers on the basis of openSYDE.
The various operating and control components communicate with each other in a perfectly coordinated ecosystem. Based on this, all operating and control concepts can be programmed and implemented for the user. OpenSYDE offers a wide range of communication services, both wired and "over the air". As a tool for software development with open interfaces, it grows with the projects and their requirements. The safety operating devices newly developed by Graf-Syteco are optimally complemented by the safety controllers from STW. Due to the coordinated system solutions, STW and Graf-Syteco together represent the ideal contact for manufacturers of mobile machines.
For the greatest possible customer benefit, STW and Graf-Syteco achieve added value through their strategic partnership, which is reflected in the complete life cycle, from professional product development to successful market launch. From 26 - 28 November 2019, the two companies presented their range of services at the SPS trade fair in Nuremberg at the neighboring booths 158 (STW) and 257 (Graf-Syteco) in Hall 7.
