A few fractions of a second can decide whether dangerous situations occur on a machine or whether they can be averted. Operating errors or misunderstandings of data visualizations can cause major damage to property or even personal injury - usually very unexpectedly and suddenly.
In addition to the pure control functionality of the HMI, Graf Syteco has therefore also specialized in the perceptual-psychological aspects of the screen interfaces (UX design). This is because stress-free familiarity with the handling of the HMI and the architecture of its usability are key to avoiding accidents at work or machine downtimes. For example, the clarity of symbols, their proportions and position on the screen, the type of text, speech intelligibility and multilingualism as well as the overall navigation already have a major influence on the safety of using the HMI - especially in acute stress situations.
For us, the term "design" not only stands for external aesthetic quality (which our HMIs undoubtedly have), but also for the ergonomic quality of the inner workings - directly in the service of occupational safety.
