Stefan Forneck is the new Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTPO) at HMI manufacturer Graf-Syteco. He succeeds Rolf Isele, who will retire in August 2025 after around 8 years as Head of Research and Development at the Tuningen-based company.
The role of CTPO was newly created at Graf Syteco in order to dovetail development and product management even better. Forneck emphasizes: "The creation of innovative solutions with added value is close to my heart. At Graf Syteco, we want to develop HMIs that provide our customers with competitive advantages in terms of productivity and safety and make life easier for machine operators. The fact that we now have everything from the product idea to engineering and marketing in one department will enable us to achieve this even better."
Stefan Forneck has been part of the Graf Syteco team since August 2024 and previously held the role of Head of Strategic Product Management. In total, he has almost 25 years of experience in the electronics and mobile automation industry. During this time, Forneck has worked in various roles for several hidden champions. He sees great potential for growth at Graf Syteco: "In recent months and years, the company has repositioned itself to meet the challenges of the market - both organizationally and in terms of modernizing production and development. We are no longer just a simple display manufacturer, but supply holistic, high-performance solutions and assistance systems, for example for 360-degree monitoring of mobile machines. What is very important to me personally: despite the rapid transformation, quality must always remain excellent."
According to Forneck, HMIs can make a decisive contribution to meeting the requirements of global megatrends. Among other things, the intuitive operation of mobile machines can help to increase efficiency and improve occupational health and safety and therefore greater safety for man and machine.
