Your profile:

  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or comparable
  • Experience in the development of high-end microcontrollers on the ARM Cortexc-A9 platform such as i.MX6
  • Experience in the field of functional safety, preferably the EN ISO 13849 or IEC 61508 standards is an advantage
  • Knowledge of risk and failure analyses (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA) from system to component level
  • Team player, assertive, independent and analytical
  • Written and spoken English

Your tasks:

  • Development of electronic hardware for operating and control devices with ARM application processors
  • Developing and implementing concepts for functionally safe electronics
  • Creating safety analyses and FMEAs
  • Adaptation and optimization of existing hardware modules
  • Evaluation of new circuit concepts and components using calculation and simulation tools
  • Supporting the entire development process - from the initial concept and design through to series production
  • Observe and test the latest technologies available on the market and use them as agreed
  • EMC-compliant circuit design
  • Release inspections, tests and further development of components through to series production support
  • Creating functional specifications, test specifications and documentation to accompany development
  • Supporting product verification by defining and executing verification tests and evaluating test results
