HMI solutions for agricultural machinery

Powerful controllers with intuitive user interfaces for tractors, combine harvesters, field sprayers, slurry tankers and all other agricultural applications

Full flexibility for agricultural machinery OEM

Advantages of human-machine interfaces for manufacturers of agricultural equipment:

  • Powerful i.MX processors

  • Simple programming via C/C++ or the intuitive GSe-VISU software
  • Full interface flexibility: CAN, Ethernet, USB
  • Supported protocols: CAN-FD, CANopen, J1939,OPC UA,

    Modbus TCP, openSYDE

  • 4 video inputs for integrating camera signals for reversing cameras, process monitoring or 360-degree bird's eye view systems
  • Integration into existing user interfaces as an embedded system
  • (High-speed) ISOBUS support

  • Supports the automation of implementation via the HMI
  • Displays with optical bonding for optimum readability even in direct sunlight

With or without ISOBUS

Operators of agricultural equipment are used to connecting their implements via ISOBUS. Our HMIs in the GSt series have the necessary interfaces as standard: The ISOBUS protocol can be transferred to all devices via CAN, while the HMIs in the Performance series also have Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, which enable the integration of the future high-speed ISOBUS standard.

However, ISOBUS is not always necessary, especially for machines to which no trailed implements are connected, such as combine harvesters or field sprayers. In these applications, certification and development costs can be saved by relying on our flexibly adaptable HMIs. They can be integrated into the operating concept of large agricultural machines as a standalone or embedded solution - even without ISOBUS support.

360-degree systems avoid dangerous situations

It is difficult to keep an overview when operating large agricultural machinery. Blind spots can be dangerous, especially when driving on dirt roads.TheBirdview system from Graf Sytecoprovides a clear 360-degree all-round view around the machine. The distortion-free display of the machine's surroundings minimizes the risk of accidents - in the field, in the yard or on all journeys in between. As an embedded system, the 360-degree system can be integrated into existing user interface solutions. This maximizes the intuitive operation of the machines and reduces the number of screens required. Acquisition and maintenance costs are reduced.

Case Study Wienhoff slurry tanker Optimum fertilization thanks to intuitive operation Modern agricultural vehicles are highly technical machines. Sensors, actuators and the like have long been comprehensively networked - this applies to the giant combine harvester as well as to slurry tankers, which have to comply with ever stricter legislation through very high precision. The latter are the core product of Lower Saxony-based Landmaschinen Wienhoff GmbH. The company uses control units from Graf-Syteco for easy control of its innovative slurry tankers.
